Buster is one sweet boy that just wants to be loved! He is a 8-9 year old pitbull. It is obvious when you meet him that he has been someones beloved friend and comrade although, knows how he ended up at the shelter. This dog is such a genuinely great guy. He steals hearts and lights up the room wherever he goes.

Buster has degenerative eye disease and cataracts, so he cannot see and cannot have this medically corrected. He does not currently require any medical attention for this condition. The one thing that we are sure about is that it does not stop him from seeing the beauty and happiness in the world. He is a soft hearted guy with a warm and loving disposition.

Buster LOVES people and other (non-alpha) dogs, but mostly people. He is quite relaxed once he knows his way around- (it only takes a day or so!) His blindness makes him more cautious as he walks around, but he manages quite well. And the best part is; He is a great snuggler ! Also, he has obviously had some training; he can sit, beg and lay down. He knows "No" and "jump up" and "Outta the Kitchen"

When he knows you are home he is quite relaxed, but when you leave he may suffer from separation stress..which is understandable, really. Given some time, and a solid routine, he will trust that you plan to return to him, and these worries should alleviate. He is an emotional, loyal and true friend, he really does not want to be left behind again. He would love to be with someone who is home a lot or works from home or could go to work with. He currently goes to work with his foster mom and is a perfect gentleman and mostly sleeps the day away.

He'd be great in a household with no other dogs or a mellow, big dog and preferably no children.
