darwin

Darwin is a sweet, playful Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who is looking for a good home!

Darwin has high energy requirements in order to stay focused and well-behaved. He needs an owner who will consistently work with him on managing his dominant tendencies. He has already made a tremendous amount of progress. Darwin is extremely intelligent and learns commands quickly, and loves to fetch. He knows sit, down, will shake his paw and won't eat a treat or his dinner until you tell him it's okay..

Darwin's biggest training challenge at the moment is leash reactivity. He is good with other dogs if he is off-leash but on-leash, tends to be distracted if another dog is around and the handler needs to know that and maintain control. He is still like a big puppy though he's about a year old. Darwin is a big lovebug and enjoys attention and being with someone. To meet Darwin or learn more about him, please contact digwerks@aol.com.
