Paladin is a mature male Formosan Mt. dog rescued in Taiwan. His rescuer climbed a fence to free him from slow starvation in an abandoned factory site. When she fell, breaking a rib, he woke her with a kiss. Paladin is about 4 years old, in excellent physical shape with a beautiful glossy black coat and expressive brown eyes that shine with intelligence and love for his human companions. He would be an excellent only-dog, especially with a yard to dash about in once or twice a day. He will be highly loyal, and like others of his breed, will continue to be very trainable. He is already housetrained and crate trained, sits for petting and for treats, and is highly praise-oriented. He would not do well with cats.
