melvin

Melvin is an older male—about ten, who still has a lot of frisk left in him. He belonged to an older gentleman whose health changed suddenly, and he had to leave his sweet dog, Melvin, behind. Melvin is a mix of some sort, maybe shepherd and/or husky. Melvin loves to get hugs, have his ears rubbed, and go on long walks.  He also likes to play with his ball or flyer-toy. We're really hoping someone will adopt him to live out his golden years— and with all of his energy, we think he’ll have plenty. Melvin is very sweet, gentle, and really, a lovely dog! Melvin would make a great companion dog— sure to keep you safe at night and provide you with lots of company during the day.
